Parent Commitments

We believe that active involvement and a hands-on approach in your children’s education during their most formative preschool years is the strongest investment you will ever make. Families at the Co-op volunteer their time to help run and operate the school, always with the mindset that every decision made must reflect our overall mission statement. Co-op families commit to:

Assisting in the Classroom

Participate in the classroom about once a month and bring a healthful snack.

Working on Committees

Attend orientation meetings and commit to two committees: Silent Auction, Carnival, or School Committees.

First Aid Training

Complete Pediatric First Aid/CPR Training and Ministry Safe Training.

Providing Donations to Silent Auction

Provide two donations to our Silent Auction “A Night for Northaven”.

Northaven Co-operative Preschool depends upon its families’ goodwill and cooperation to ensure its smooth operation. Therefore, parents must understand and agree to their obligations prior to enrollment.
