
Earth Day at the Co-op
Today, we celebrated Earth Day in our classes. We took a walk to pick up litter and participated in an experiment to purify dirty water.
To provide a quality preschool which nurtures the development of the whole child and provides parents the opportunity to participate directly in the education of their young children.
We offer preschool classes for children aged 2 to 5. Each class has an age-based student-teacher ratio. Classes meet two to four mornings a week, depending on age. On Fridays, we welcome children older than 3.5 years old to our special Fab Friday class, where they enjoy STEM activities like cooking, experiments, and engineering.
Our faculty at Northaven Co-operative Preschool has broad experience in early childhood education. We are dedicated to learning experiences and the enthusiastic sharing and enjoyment of knowledge.

The youngest classes are learning all about transportation. The Young 3’s made paper traffic lights and had fun using melon scoops to create fruit traffic lights.
