A tooth-tastic week

The Young 4’s had a very toothy week. It started by learning about dentists — who they are and what they do. In process art, the children crafted toothbrushes using paper rolls. In the science center, they examined tooth molds and discussed which foods are good for our teeth and which ones are not. The books that were read were about the tooth fairy and the traditions around the world that celebrate losing baby teeth. The children then visited the 4’s & 5’s class to see what their mouths looked like with their missing baby teeth. They finished the week by making elephant toothpaste!
