A rainy day provides a day of fun. The children helped towel dry the surfaces of our tables so we could have a rainy day picnic. We looked at water droplets on the lettuce in our Children’s Garden. We jumped in puddles, watching the splatter of water and mud on our boots. We felt the gentle rain on our faces and used our large muscles to run on the rocks. We practiced removing our rain boots and putting on our shoes, ready to enjoy listening to a story.
