In preparation for our trip to the Dallas Zoo next week, our students are thinking about and learning about the animals we will see. We spent time reading our science books about elephants and enjoyed the familiar story of Elmer, the patchwork elephant. To add to the fun of the day, we made Elephant Toothpaste!
