Being a Co-Op Family

As a Co-op family, you will join a community of lifelong learners. Together we create a diverse learning environment that supports each of us in our ongoing development as parents, teachers, students, and community members.

Parent Involvement

Our parents share the joys of learning with their young children and take an active part in their first school experience. School families help the Co-op function smoothly by assisting in the classroom, working on committees, and supporting the annual Silent Auction.

The Co-op Board is the governing body of the school – an active, strong group of dedicated parents and members of the Northaven United Methodist Church that assist the Preschool Director in making all the important administrative decisions.

Meet Our School Mascot

“Hello, everyone! I am the mascot of Northaven Co-operative Preschool. The kids named me Hedgy, and I love my name. I joined the community in 2022 and can’t wait for all the adventures waiting for me.”
