Our former student came to share the beautiful folklórico dance with our classes, wearing her bright traditional Mexican dance garment. It was a family affair with big sister explaining the origin of the dance and showcasing the culture and regions of Mexico. We were able to view the special shoes with metal plates that make the sounds of the dance, as well as dolls wearing elaborate dresses.
