The Creature Teacher brought amazing animals to the Co-op today. The entire school gathered to learn about the special creatures John showed us, including Popcorn the snake, Sonic the hedgehog (our school’s mascot), Florence the skunk, Skittles the lizard, and Joey the kangaroo. We watched Skittles enjoy eating a cricket with his long tongue. The children were invited to use two fingers to gently touch Popcorn and Joey.

What a wonderful, informative visit!
