The Young 4’s and 4’s & 5’s were enthralled by their visit to the Dallas World Aquarium. We spent about two hours exploring the rainforest and the creatures of the sea. We listened to Eric Carle’s book Mr. Seahorse, and looking at a live seahorse was a delight. The students also made jellyfish art, and seeing them up close as they floated was a safe experience without the risk of being stung. The gentle manatee was easy to spot, swimming with rays and turtles. His face warmed our hearts with his whiskers.
