The Northaven Co-op students went on a field trip to Texas Discovery Gardens to see the beautiful butterflies. The variety of butterflies and moths brought our study of these insects to life.

The 4’s & 5’s listened to the classic The Very Hungry Caterpillar, and followed up with making a class nature collage. The artists from the 3’s & 4’s and the Young 4’s created beautiful watercolor butterflies. All of these displays have brightened our hallways, and now we are eagerly waiting for our butterflies to emerge from their cocoons.
