The Young 4’s and 4’s & 5’s went on a field trip to the Frontiers of Flight Museum. It was a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the hands-on exhibits. Our lessons about the moon phases with Oreo cookies prepared the children for our visit to the moon and stars in the planetarium. The children were introduced to the vocabulary used when talking about space with words such as atmosphere, orbit, hurricanes, planets, astronaut, satellite, and telescope.
