The book Thunder Cake by Patricia Polacco tells the story of a little girl who is afraid of thunder. She learns all about thunder with her grandmother while gathering the ingredients and making a Thunder Cake. Our class made this special cake during the thunderstorms on Wednesday. It truly helped us not to be afraid, and we enjoyed every bite of this cake with the very special secret ingredient.
