Each family is required to serve on one School Committee and one Fundraising Committee. The chair for each committee will contact the members regarding roles and responsibilities.
Parent Services
Parent Services Chair, Julie McGuire
The Parent Services Chairperson fills School and Fundraising Committees from information received from parents through sign-up sheets and Choice of Committee forms.
The chairperson of each committee is to submit a written report of the committee’s work and suggestions for improvement to the Parent Services Chairperson by the end of the school year. This will be kept in the committee notebook to help each new chairperson run that committee smoothly.
After Spring Break, the Parent Services Chair may reassign people who have not fulfilled their committee jobs. All questions about the responsibilities of your committees should be directed to your chairperson or to the Parent Services Chairperson.
In order for the Co-op to function smoothly, it is important that each family fulfill their service obligations. In the event that the chair of the committee reports two failed attempts at contacting a family to schedule a committee obligation, the Parent Services Chair will attempt contact a third time. If the family is unresponsive after these three attempts, a $100 fine will be assessed per infraction. No-shows to previously scheduled obligations will also be assessed a $100 fine per infraction.
