Nothing can compare to seeing for yourself what a co-op classroom is like. The children are busy building, singing, moving, painting, sculpting, cooking, reading, pretending and exploring. Teachers offer guidance both individually and in groups so each child can develop at his or her own pace. The "Co-Op Mom" or "Co-Op Dad" plays an important supporting role in this educational adventure.
Tours are available Monday through Thursday throughout the school year. Please call the office to schedule your visit: 214-691-7666. If you have already visited and observed, please download the 2010-2011 application.

Parent Commitment
|
|
|
Northaven Co-op is dependent upon the good will and cooperation of its parents to ensure its smooth operation. Therefore, it is imperative that parents understand and agree to their obligations prior to enrollment.
As Co-op parents, we agree:
To submit the required health form for our child by the first day of school;
To read the Co-op Handbook, which will be given us before school begins, in order to become familiar with school philosophy and policies;
To provide snack and to be present and on time on our assigned co-op days to act as the helping parent in the classroom or to arrange for a replacement in case of absence;
To serve on a fundraising committee for the Carnival or the Silent Auction;
To serve on a School Committee;
To pay tuition promptly, with a late fee if late.
As a Co-op father, to try to be present in my child's classroom at least once during the school year.
