The Young 4’s and 4’s & 5’s went on their first field trip. Our local Tom Thumb at Preston Royal gave the students a tour of the store and helped us shop for the ingredients to make vegetable soup. Our students were paired with a classmate and given a vegetable to find and purchase. The friendly employees gave each child a banana, a cookie from the bakery, and a Halloween goody bag. When we returned to school, we busily chopped our vegetables for the soup.
